I'm sure everyone does it a different way. This is how I do it!

- If it's greasy/dirty, than wash it down with a mild de-greaser and wash the de-greaser off with soap and water
- Dry it and make sure it's clean
- Polish using a cotton cloth or buffer, I use Eagle one aluminum and metal polish, it gets it so shiny it's like a mirror!

Good luck!

It depends on how bad it is. If you want ok and easy results just go buy some neverdull. I like to take my time, starting with some rubbing compounds and making my way to some white rouge. For something like a tunnel on a sled thats always gonna be getiing dirty, I would just use never dull.

i get this stuff called "Autosol" from canadian tire, just wipe away all the crap, and polish with that and it usually comes out nice, i think its more of a chrome polish but works good on aluminum too
