Shield Screws for HJC CL-11?

I have an older helmet that is in perfect shape, but one of the plastic screws that holds the shield on snapped. I'm wondering if anyone might have one of these helmets that they either have extra hardware for, or maybe it isn't really usable and they could spare the screws that are on it currently.

It's an HJC CL-11. I spent a good amount of time and effort last year to get what might well be the last actual snow shield to fit this helmet that HJC had buried in their warehouse. It's in pretty much perfect shape, so I would really like to find a replacement screw so that it can continue to be used.

If you have one, let me know and let's see what we can work out. I don't have part numbers or ANY sort of information at this point as to what sort of parts cross-reference might be an option. So, it has to be the CL-11 helmet that we're talking about for now.

head down to your local hardware store and hit those hardware pull out drawer bins. take the helmet with you. hjc ran both a course and a fine thread on the screws. in those slide out bins at most hardware stores you will find an assortment of plastic screws. thats what i did.

i do have a few hardware packs from the clx models, but these are the aluminum screws for the visor with the plastic screw for the center of the visor. i am thinking yours to be the short black plastic screws for the side hardware attachment.

i am a believer in hjc products and have many of these helmets. you should find that any model specific hardware will interchange with prior year or outdated models, if you want to go the dk or others route or hjc direct, you will find the screws.

Thanks.

I actually have one screw that's still fine, so I could take that with me to match with as well. The screw head needs to be proper as well, though, since it will retain the plastic end cap and influence the ratchet for setting / holding the visor position.

I've reached out to HJC directly as I've gotten very good support from them in the past. I've sent photos of the screws positioned with a ruler to show dimensions - I'm waiting to hear back from them. In the interim, I thought I would start checking other avenues as well.
