From the law book-
Can a child legally operate an OHRV?
Children between the ages of 14 and 17 can operate an OHRV off their parents', grandparents' or guardians' property if they meet one of the following criteria: they must be accompanied by a licensed adult over the age of 18, possess a valid motor vehicle driver's license or have successfully completed an approved OHRV Safety Education Class. Children under the age of 12 can only operate an OHRV off their parents', grandparents' or guardians' property if a licensed adult over age 18 accompanies them. No children under the age of 18 may carry a passenger on a 3- or 4-wheel ATV.
