Question on Oil injection..

Ok, I have a question on oil injected sleds. What is better to run in them, 2 cycle oil or reg synthetic oil?

I ask because my buddies one sled has synthetic oil in it.

One of mine the guy gave me a bottle of 2 cycle snowmobile oil and said thats what he had in it, and it smokes a lot.

You CAN NOT run regular oil in the sled! You run regular 2 stroke or synthetic 2 stroke. Regular oil will not mix correctly with the fuel. Synthetic 2 stroke is more expensive, but seems to keep the engine cleaner.

Additionally, engines with "power valves", "exhaust valves", "RAVE", "VES" etc usually require synthetic 2-stroke oil for proper exhaust valve operation.

And it's about 90%-120% more expensive !!!!!!!!!!

I use synthetic blend! It's a whole lot cheaper than full synthetic. But it's recomended for my sled so that's why i use it!

You are right, my friend has the same exact engine in his Adrenaline and he no longer has to buy the $32 Bombardier Synth, he gets a blend version for approx $21.
