Installing studs ?

My sled is currently studded. Nobody wants to buy this thing so i'm going to start customizing it some. I already have studs but there are few that are missing or broken. ri've seen some with a green plate or something at the bottom of the stud and it look pretty cool. How much do studs go for ? The current stud pattern on there now is 3-2-3-2-3-2.

Studs are generally expensive ($100 and up, per track), and hard to find in small quantities. Are you just changing to colored plates? Take a few off (for fun) before you decide to buy any! They are a PITA to get off. You may find it not worth the effort for the amount of "cool factor" you'll be getting.
