Oil Injection Flow?

I just put all new fuel/oil hoses on my sled, and was wondering how long does it takes till oil will begin flowing. No snow, so all I can do is just let it sit idle in the garage. Its been about 5 min, and I still see nothing for oil going thru the hoses....????

You need to pull the fuel line from tank off at the pump and put a line in a can of premix gas, start engine let idle, and pull the oil pump cable on the pump like you are at WOT. Then it should bleed right out in about a min. At idle the pump puts out very little and thats why you haven't seen oil yet. and on some machines oil will not gravity feed thru the pump. Hope this helps

there also should be a bleeder fitting on the pump, usually just a bolt you take loose to let the air out of the line. make sure you premix the oil in the gas like he said ^^^

Hope you're running pre-mix while you're running it. There have been numerous threads on how important it is to have oil injection working properly. A single air bubble can can fry an engine!
