yeah but the worst part is weather network said it's going to be freakin' cold afterthat.. dropping to -15 C

so imagine rainign and all wet everywhere then droping to below freezing... it's gonna be one heck of a party in the streets with all those morons who can't drive in icy condition.

Yeah, you might want to stay off the roads until the sanders have gone by. It could get a little messy

even more since the gov force the fusion of cities here in quebec.. so now instead of a small city we have 3 cities in one and public road have gone from priority to " yeah, so what?"

ill just go ride the sled in the streets instead.. that radiator under the hood should be useful

54 Degrees at 2 pm. The only snow that's left (and that's VERY spotty) is where it's been packed by vehicles or piled up by snowplows.

Tomorrow and Friday, allegedly, will be just as warm, if not warmer. Any future snowpack will basically be starting from scratch.

it's funny because if you look at the weather network, all the high temperature records were in the 1990's/2000's. It's quite clear that global warming is at play here. the unfortunate part is that us, and our sleds, boats, and trucks are all contributing to it. it's a real shame. i really wonder about the future of our sport sometimes...

We had a 2 hour delay today which is good but we lost about 2 inches of snow today. First it was freezing rain then it turned to rain. We still have enough to ride but it's on the verge of not being rideable. At this rate i'll be pulling out the golf clubs.

Not really. Humans have very little impact on the weather. Holes in the Ozone layer? Gone. Fixed themselves.

Higher temps world wide? BS. Look at Japan.

What is at play is mother nature or the earth itself. it happens. That's why we have ice ages and tropical periods.

We are due for another mini ice age though. The last one was in ~ the 1300's.

It's not necessarily "gloabal warming". They only started taking those records 50 or 60 years ago. This earth has been around 4 or so billion years. We're ignorant to think that higher temperatures are caused by us. You can't say that in the past 100 000 years the temperature was never 50 degrees in january.

You're right another ice age wont be too far away. The ice caps are melting which will cool then ocean and change the currents. Than the warm ocean water that fuel all our weather wont be there. The planet will cool off and I will go snowmobiling!
