my buddy has a 97 mxz 440. we went out ridin today and it was running on one cylinder. we put new plugs in and it was fine for a while then it got worse, then a little better, then worse, etc. finally it wouldnt even start at all, so me and my other buddy had to tow him back. we got back and went to look at the plugs and the cap came completely off the wire to one of the plugs, we tried to shove it back in there but couldnt get it to connect good enough. i think this would be the problem and why it got better than worse than better, with the wire jiggling around in there. he asked me to look online and see if i can find a new plug wire. i found one here
if he orders the 72" wire and a terminal cap, how hard would it be to cut the wire to length and put the cap on??

Just cut the wire to length. The end screws onto the wire, and the wire screws onto the coil. They each have a screwlike thing in them.

okay . thanks . i didnt figure it would be too hard . i guess i will just have to wait till he gets it in and we can try it . sorry if this posts twice . i tried posting once and my computer froze so im writing it again.
