After finding my V force reeds had self imploded and I had 2 missing complete petals.. I will never buy v force reeds again.
I had great luck with boysen though in my RM250's so I think I will try them next.

delta 2 are no good, however delta 3s are perfect. boysen cant match the power v force gives with the split cage.

hey letitsnow, a little off topic but I see on your sig you have a 1995 CR 125. I used to race that same bike and loved it. I had mine ported and polished and it was murderous to a stock 250. Im my opinion the fasted 125 ever made and the single toy I wish I would have never sold. This was a pointless reply, just brought back memories

i like it pretty good, just have to keep practicing and messing with the suspension, it has a pretty good low end hit, did yours have a powerband like that stock?

people like me are the reason the things like the rev chassis and mono-shock dirtbike suspension came out, we b****ed until someone got sick of it and built what we wanted so we would shut up.
you should be thanking me.

If I had all the money back I stuck in the CR I would be a rich man. After trying 4 aftermarket pipes (FMF, ProCircuit,DG, and Bills), I found the stock to give me the biggest punch and stuck with it, go figure. That CR had a monster for a motor and still is untouchable. As far as suspension went, the stock was horribly harsh and had terrible headshake. I sent it off to Pro Circuit to have it revalved and sprung, which was the only solution that I could find to make it suitable. Stick a 52 tooth rear sproket and some Pro-Taper bars on it and your ready hit the dirt hard and get back up with a smile.

v-force reeds
I am replacing the petals in my v-force 2 reedcages today.
None were broken off, but most had stress cracks. I bought 2
packs of petals and replacing the worst on my 3 cages ( for ac 800 triple)
Dealer said all the v-force reeds will break. Nature of the beast. Sacrifice
durability for performance. Need to inspect and replace bad petals regularly was my dealer's advice.

re: tamacat on reed petal replacement
Tamacat is right. I should have done them all. But at 55 dollars a pack- I was
trying to save a few bucks. Will find out in a year or so if that was a wise
decision.
