Buying a fleet rental sled?

Hi guys, I'm in the market for a 2-up sled to ride around Big Sky, MT and West Yellowstone area. There are a lot of rentals for sale from the tour companies, most are 05s. I'm wondering if these are a good buy, I know one of the Yellowstone park companies maintains all their sleds in perfect condition and sells them at a certain mileage/time mark. Plus the park sleds never get abused because they are guided rentals only and the speed limit is 35mph and they stay on the groomed road. But do you think this is hard wear on the sled, being driven by beginners at slow speeds all the time?

Also, some of these 4 stroke 2-ups only go about 45-50 mph, what do you think is too fast to ride with 2 people? I've ridden their Arctic Cat 660 which is what they are selling for 3000-4000 depending on year (04 or 05).

They also have 2 stroke 550s, would this be better?

most rental sleds have been rode ALOT and have miles on them, they want to sell them, but you have to get a great deal, most of the companys want far too much for them, just look at what the normal ones are going for and pay alot less

I think you would be okay with one that was only used with a guide present. Just make sure you have it checked out good.

Make sure you have checked the sled out, ask if you can test ride some of them, and compare prices with what they are going for.
