When races are held in my area, they usually are divided into a 12 and under class and 13 or above. You can race no matter what age, that doesn't matter, and then are divided into engine classes. I'm not sure how it goes where you are located, but this is how it is where I live.

probuly not going to race this winter ill be racing cars next year. and hopefully sleds. is there a 500cc class (back to snowmobiles)

Cars already? And yes, there is a 500cc class. I believe it goes down to a 440cc class.
