Help with Sno cross technique

I have entered my first Sno cross and was just wondering if anyone had any helpful pointers or techniques to pass along? Any help would be appreciated

Most importantly, have fun. If you arent having fun, whats the point?
For your first few races I would suggest not trying to get the holeshot. You want to earn the respect of your fellow racers, so you dont want to go charging into the first turn and take people out.
Just fall into line in the first corner and see how many people you can pass. As you start to get the hang of it, then you can go for the holeshot.

Cool, we only have one race here a year, so I am entered in the amatuer race and also the open as I will be running my F7. Hopefully I won't get too banged up as thier is supposed to be about 4-5 pros coming from ontario to race. But I plan to have a blast anyways, I just had my 40th birthday on the 10 of April so this is my mid life crisis

Be sure to play with your friends a lot! That helps you get into your comfort zone. I was really scared to get close to people when I first started riding, but after having some fun competition with my friends for a few years... if I see you hesitate, I am flying past ya.
