Are they actually going to have good enough ice by then? When I was up there over X-Mas, the lakes were pretty slushy and Id bet they are even worse now with the warm temps.

Yeah, but the past few days have been 40 degrees and rain. They are forecasting daytime highs in the teens next week, so hopefully they will have ice.
