smut blocker

Lately here on this site I've noticed a rash of ppl( not existing members) trying to post **** on this site. I know that everyone here has noticed this also. I know that Cobra and SEG work very hard to keep this site as clean as possible. I'm not leaving Dano out either, it's just that he is in Iraq right now and can't really help oversee the site.
I would like to suggest 2 things that would help this situation. If anyone has other suggestions, then let them be said.

1. Put some type of parental lock on this site so that ppl can't put **** on the site.

2. Current Administrator, and Moderators elect another moderator.

I know that you guys really work hard and I'm not knockin you guys. You do an awsome job. Like I said b4. If anyone has more suggestions, let them be said.

if i may add my .02...there has been some sh|t posted on here, but i dont think enough were we need a parental lock.

my suggestion is that the admin/mods adjust the capabilities the forum so the links supplied in the posts is automatically deleted/removed. for example, the forum automatically deletes certain phrases or words so the link does not work and no one can click on it. i know this is available b/c ive seen this restriction on other sites.

I guess that's what i meant when I said parental lock. I know that the bussinesses use this type of software on there servers. That also might creat another problem. Say if you have an article and pic of a really cool sled and you want to post it. The link to the article has the word "sexy" in it. The server would recognize the word "sexy" and delete the link even if you used the script prompt. I know that there is a good way to go about this. I'm just shooting ideas out there. I also know that putting this software on the server will cost alittle money to.

The biggest thing about that is for the amount of times it happens, I think it's working pretty good right now. Like the last link some moron posted, you could TELL it was smut, and I received 3 PM's to delete it.

If it looks weird, or if there's a user with only 1 post putting up the link, that may tell you a lot. You all do a great job policing the site anyway, keep up the good work!

I added an "image verification" for new registering members. This should block any computer robots from registering to post p0rn links.
