It also takes into account the resolution of the image.

Okay, how do you post more than one picture in the same reply/new thread? Thanks OB

the only way to post more than one picture is if you remote link the picture from a different site.
for example, if the picture is hosted on another forum/site/image hosting.com you just right click on the picture, then click on properties, then copy the address. insert the address it into your post using the [img] tags.
you can not post more than one picture in a post buy uploading them from your computer.

Ya but if you go to upload a pic it tells what sizes, and what types of attachments can be uploaded

In Photoshop, under Edit/Image Size, turn off constrain proportions and you can make height and width anything you want but it will distort the pic to force it into that size.

I suggest that you leave it locked, makes editing easier.
I use the pixel setting and change it to 500 X 300 and 250 dpi. This makes the image a nice size for the display and small enough to upload.

I agree it should stay locked. That was just some info for SpeedyVision917 who was curious why width automatically changed when he set height.
Thanks

I would argree..should keep it locked. It helps to keep the picture in its original proportion when you resize it. For those of you who dont have paint shop or like product, try paint.net. Its a free program like paint shop that allows you to do just about anything you need to do. I have used it quiet a few times. Really good product.
