It wasn't leaking when i got it, as far as i know. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Hi, over the summer my snowmobile (2002 xc sp 700) has developed an oil leak that I have found on the floor. I washed down the belly pan to search for it, and it never showed back up, although the floor ended up covered in oil again. I finally saw oil dripping off the front of the track and have it traced back to the (what i believe to be) the low level oil sensor. It is towards the back of the snowmobile on the bottom side of the oil tank. My problem is....I cannot find this part on the parts manual....anyone know where to find it? It has 2 wires coming off of it if that helps.

hi, i have a 1989 arctic cat jag 340 deluxe that i drove for the past few years, its a great little machine, engine was rebuilt 3 years ago, new absorber, and springs in rear suspension, new front skis and carbides, seat has a small rip, engine has no oil ijector, i mix 40:1, electric start, handwarmers ,and heated visor plug. thats about it for my jag, now the polaris:

1993 polaris indy 500 fan cooled, newer painted hood, good track/suspension, seat has a small rip, engine missing the top cooling shroud, it suposebly starts and runs good, 9806 miles on it, it has studs for the track.

so if anyone here can please let me knoww if the polaris is a good sled, my friend had bad luck with his, so i just wanted to make sure i know about any problems that i can avoid or fix. is this a good trade? thanks

I'm in the market for a nice 2-up touring sled and found an 06 Edge 550 for pretty cheap. I just need to know whether or not this is a decent sled. I've ridden an 05 600 Edge Touring and really liked it but Ive heard mixed opinions on the fan machines. It would be used primarily on trails at 7-8,000 feet elevation, but occasionally in deep snow as it is pretty hard to avoid powder out here. Also may see higher altitude at times. We won't be flogging this sled hard but may rarely run with some 700/800 RMKs. Any and all opinions and advice would be welcomed, thanks

Hello, I also posted this on the Yamaha board, just looking for epinions.... Just wondering what to look for with this sled? I have a chance to purchase the Yamaha for $2300.00... mint condition with 1400 miles... Currently I have a 1997 polaris xlt touring with 2200 miles on it. Other then the xlt being bigger, is the Yammy worth the upgrade? I would have to sell my polaris in order to get the sxr. Not sure how Yammy compares to the xlt w/the xtr12 suspension. I do mostly groomed trail riding.. I understand one is double sled and other single, but in general, motor and suspension wise which sled is better? My xlt has the updated motor, so no crank troubles... How is the Yammy on gas? how are the suspensions? I used to have a 96vmax and it was the stiffest worse suspension ever LOL... the xtr 12 on the polaris blew the suspension away, how will the sxr compare to that vmax suspension? any info would be great........ Like i said the sxr is mint condition, only changes he made was to have it studded and added rises to the handlebars(which im not sure is good or not, but i can always remove)... with that said, my xlt is also mint condition..IM just wondering if the sx700r is worth me getting rid of my xlt... I dont ride double anymore, but i still dont mind the bigger xlt as its awsome on the groomed trails...I hate to trade the xta12 suspension for a bad suspension(im not sure how the sxr suspension was)once again, i do all trail riding.. no moguls or jumps.

Hi , I'm new here and I need some help on the specs of this sled.
2004 RMK Vertical Escape 700 Liberty engine.
I was reading on this model and most of them are labled Vertical Edge not Escape. I hear that this is a snow check model. Does anyone know what were the added upgrades to the Escape model. Also can you tell me how the sled is, its pros and cons on the sled? Any help will be greatly appreciated. I have someone who wants to trade me this sled for my ZX 11 crotch rocket motorcycle.
Thank You

Hi Guys' I am only a 1 year vetran of riding sleds and i have my eye on this sled which is set up for mountain riding, i guess that has to do with jetting of the fuel system? Thing is i live in the prairies Manitoba which i just above the North Dakota border is there anything wrong with riding this sled outside the mountains or high altitude? Is it going to cause problems with the sled. I currently have a 2000 actic cat 500 powder special and want to go bigger and faster.
Thanks for any input Dan.
