I just got into snowmobiling last year and just picked up a "new to me" sled last week. It's a 2002 Polaris Edge X 600. The track looks a bit rough and I'm looking at replacing it before this winter. How tall a lug and long a stud can I fit on it without any clearance issues? Also I'm considering a pre-studded track like the Camoplast Ice Ripper or Kimpex Ultimate ice, any suggestions? I'll be mostly riding trails and some frozen lakes. :dunno:

Hello members, Avid rider from Michigan deployed with the Army Reserves to Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. Currently own 1977 El'Tigre 5000, 1997 Zr 580 and ZRT600.. Started riding when my father bought a Double Eagle/Raider.. I make the trip every year(other than when deployed) to Jackson Hole, Wy for the hill climbs. Love back country riding but not alot of that goin on in the Lower Michigan area. I do all my repairs on my sleds. I love to ride, be around people that ride and showing off. Glad i found this site and looking forward to talkin and maybe meeting some fellow riders out there.

I do most my riding in southern wisconsin but a little in northern wisconsin and the U.P. I was woundering if anybody with any knowledge of the 2006 polaris fusion 700 could tell me if that sled is a true rider forward design and how good they are engine, and gas wise.
