Hi guys,
Haven't been on here in a while, but I am moving to Peoria IL and going to get snowmobiles. I have 2 dirt bikes, and work on many peoples lawnmowers/small engines so that's what I will be using the trailer for and of course the snowmobiles. What size trailers do you use I am wanting a open air trailer with slide out ramps or the ramp that folds down. I think I would need to be at least 6 ft wide by 10 ft long to fit snowmobiles on it? Would this work for 2 snowmobiles? Do you have any pictures on what you guys use or info. Yes I will install a salt shield so that won't be a problem.
Thanks

I've got an Enticer 300 twin that is going onto a go kart. I brought it home and fired it up with good spark. A week later i go to start it and now i have no spark. ive checked the coil that goes to the plugs by hooking it up to my el tigre and got spark from it. I then figured it must be one of the two internal ignition coils. I hooked up my multimeter and got 3 volts out of the really small one and on the larer one the voltage jumped up to 30+ before the multimeter displayed overload. Do these voltages seem in spec? if so the problem must be in the cdi box correct?

I have a 2010 750cc turbo dragon IQ that i'm thinking about ordering an extension kit for. Currently it is a 121" but i'd like to take it to a 144" with 1.352" lug. The kit comes with the track, rail extensions and tunnel extension. Hyfax is extra but reasonable. Anyway, any recommendations on this procedure? Any other parts I may need?

What about clutching or gearing? Any combinations I should look at? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have a 2013 Assault 800 SWB in a 144" track. It came with a 1.352" cobra lug and I am considering moving up to camoplasts challenger 2" track. I use this sled for the mountains so that is my reason for going to the 2".

Anyway, is there anything else that needs to be done or changed besides the track to get this machine to run properly. A friend of mine though that maybe the gears in the chain case need to be adjusted and different clutch weights used to get proper RPMs.

Anybody ever done this exact thing or have some advice?

I'm new to the forum and am just starting to get into snowmobiling after moving back to the northeast after college. I just picked up a 97 Formula 500 and had a few questions about summer storage. Any good pointers for storing the sled/engine over the summer? Do I summarize it like I winterize my outboard? Any pointers would be appreciated, especially if you have the same sled or a similiar one. I really don't know where to start and I'm very eager to learn. Please help a new sledder out and much appreciated!
