1980 Moto Ski Mirage II 377 rotax

Hello,
machine ran great most of last weekend then suddenly lost power,
just made it back. Had a look at it tonite, no spark on one cylinder.
checked to see if any wires off or broken, everything looked ok,
then took off coil that had no spark and discovered a wire broken.
Repaired wire, but still no spark. I have limited experience, but it
seems that the coil is bad.
Is there something else I should check before replacing the coil?
Any suggestion greatly appreciated
Cheers,
John

From my expierience with older rotax engines, i think it is time to replace the coil.
