gearbox oil

Just got a used ski doo 86 safari. The drive gearbox has a plug rather than a dip stick. How full do I fill and with what oil. Don't have a maint manual yet. Thanks Ed

We've always used ATF in our polaris sleds, with zero failures. This year I'm trying something different, and that is 1/3 MC gear oil, and 2/3 ATF.

Just repalced my gear box oil with Spectrol gear box oil. Are you sure you don't have a dip stick? Sometimes they are real hard to get to- my buddy had to pull the pipe and battery before he could even see the thing on his grand touring.
