It can be the coil, the points, condenser, or key/kill switches. Unplug those first to eliminate them.

Hi

I have a prob with my 2000´Arctic Cat ZRT 800. It runs good with half-throttle and RPM goes also up to 8000.

But if I go on full throttle (and just there) it seems like it is getting no gasoline and the effect isn´t there anymore.
I already changed the spark plugs and the response was better. I also checked the Safety Switch.... and I took away all electric devices by unplugging the 4-pin cable next to the engine.

Any ideas what it can be?

Hi Small engines guy. I've got a 1979 Yamaha ET300 and I had the oil tank off of it. I read how to bleed an oil system but there is no bleeder on the oil pump. I will tell you what I did. Could you tell me if you think my way is Ok please? I already made the mistake of not bleeding the oil pump on one other snowmobile. That was an expensive mistake. Anyway what I did this time was gently pressurized the oil tank while the engine was running. The tank is about 1/2 full. The oil line from the pump goes into the intake and I cant see it. But it is still smokeing like a 2 stoke should. Please let me know what you think of my method for bleeding the pump.
