Question 96 Ultra 90psi all 3 cylinders

Hello everyone, my 96 Ultra was running great lots of power when after about 60miles all of a sudden it felt sluggish and I couldn't get it past 45miles an hour. Lots of low end power. I thought I had a bad plug so I removed the plug cap starting from the primary, when I got to the recoil side it made no difference. I changed the plug, no difference. Lots of spark. Got it home checked the throttle body for gas, plenty. Took apart and cleaned it, seats and all. Put it back together and it's seemed a little better but still can't get past 55/mhr. Now when I remove the spark plug cap I can here a slight difference. I checked the psi on the cylinders and they are all at 88psi. I also noticed a pool of black oil on the garage floor. The sled has 3850miles on it. What could be the problem? Pls help!

I find it hard to believe all 3 are low compression...Try another tester.

Or retest the compression, all plugs out, throttle wide open and pull at least 6 times per cylinder or until the gauge stops rising.

I bet you'll get more like 120#! Atleast I hope! And if so then there would have to be a different problem? Is this efi? have you tested the fuel presure?

Just checked before I left for work, no spark plugs and throttle fully open, 6 pulls each cylinder. From primary to recoil, 85psi, 94psi, 88psi. Each cyl has its own upper gasket I would assume the lower cylinder gasket is all seperately as well, could I have blown the crank case gasket or possibly the crank seal?

Looks like you're in need of new rings at the very least.

The 115psi is not bad. Check that 95 one. If it does end up needing rings, do all 3!
