I got this for $300 that was owed to me it is in real good shape every thing works. I do have to clean carbs .I am new to sleds. The studs are hitting the tunnel when i was ridding it in the yard , now are there adjustments to the springs and the shock in the track? or is that some thing i shound buy new ? if so how big of a job is this ?I am going to use it for mostly ice fishing and some riding.

Have you adjusted the track? You use the bolts at the back so the track hangs down about 3/4" with a 15lb weight hanging off it.

Cleaning carbs i can handle . As far as the track it seems to be sitting fine its not sagging at all , i can get a finger between the track and skid . suspention is real soft.

To increase stiffness of the suspension, there are blocks under the short end of the rear springs, turn them so that the thicker sides are supporting the spring ends.

Ok thanks i will try that .I hope iy will work and get me by for ice fishing if not i mite just upgrade the whole system .I just have to look at the cost.

In my opinion an xlt is not an ice fishing sled, but will work being you dont have a smaller one! Xlts are extremly fast for their age. Will gladly bring you 110mph.

Yes i know i said for this year i planing on going through this thing over summer for next year i am looking at getting a 2up for ice fishingfor next year this is to get by for this year.
