1993 pantera with efi problems

A 1993 arctic cat pantera that I'm doing some work on seems to load up the clutch side cylinder if the fuel pump is allowed to cycle through completely... If you just turn the key on and start it rite up it runs fine.... Has me a little puzzled!!!! Anyone got any ideas???

Possible that the injector is leaking under pressure.
Easy to check, pull the injector out and turn on the key and look for any fuel spray.

so there should be no fuel until the sled is actually cranked over correct? if there is then the injector is bad?

just turning the key to the on position will still spray into the cylinder without it actually being turned over? im not all that familiar with efi..... have mostly worked on carburated models in the past

Its very simple! There is a triger on the flywheel and it will triger each injector individualy at the best time for fuel to be atomized! And there are several sensors to determin hot much fuel it needs!

That is unless the injector is stuck in the open position in which case it will spray as soon as the pressure is sufficient.
