99 Ski-doo mxz 600 running/flooding problems....

Ok, so i have searched a bit and haven't found anything on my problem, maybe i missed it. Anyways here is my problem... I have as stated a 99 Skidoo Mxz 600, it had been running great, then after warm it runs like it's a one cyl. And soaks the #2 plug. Cleaned carbs, new fuel pump lines filter, fuel, cleaned tank. Ran great again, then warm, bogs like it's down a cyl. Soaked plug still. Swapped carbs locations for poops and hahas and i have it down to a carb. But, no matter how i adjust, it keeps flooding it out. Suggestions? Needles are both on center clips, carbs are spotless. Floats are appearing to float well... Any help at thus point is a help... I'm at a loss... Then the other night the "good" carb flooded and hydro locked my engine... So lost...

Done exactly that, no luck at all... Everything but the 99-01 600 engines. It's such a pain... Ski doo doesn't have an easy table for use for dummies like myself. Cars, sure no problem. This sled has been nothing but trouble since day one

I think the 600 in 99 had dpm that is supposed to adjust float bowl pressure making jetting universal for all temperatures and elevations. Could be an issue with that

Did the machine run well before this issue? If so, it's not a jetting issue (jetting doesn't change itself!). Either your choke plunger isn't seating all the way or your inlet needle/seat is in need of replacement.

It did not, though both carbs are now completely torn down. And found 280 Mains and 35 pilots. Which the dealer i called told me is OE. But refused to give me a jetting assistance, but they are happy to help otherwise at 59.99 an hour. yep, I'll get right on that...

Did you clean the jets? If you scratch or mar them in the jet it can change fuel delivery

That is the correct jetting. Are your chokes leaking by?

This is my vote at this point, so i cleaned the carbs again, doubled checked the choke, and I'm not sure exactly what these choke needles are supposed to look like

With the carb upside down, the arms should be parallel with the bowl flange.

There should be 1/8" of slack in the choke cable before it starts to lift the plungers.

Cool

Thanks everyone for your help and input. Final result is new jets and needles, found floats way too high, choke needles replaced and adjusted to specs. Problem solved.

99' Ski-Doo MXZ 600
Mains @ 280
Pilots @ 40
Keene NH
20*F and under.
1.5 turns out on both adjuster screws. Plugs coming out cardboard brown, and finally happy with her.
