Arctic Cat Drive Belt Issues

Hi all! I have a 2001 Mountain Cat 600 EFI That I used for one season with no problems. After missing last year's riding season I fired up the sled and it would not go forward. Also strong rubber smell and smoking. I replaced the belt with a new part (#0627-020) and lifted the track to test. It ran fine with no problems but when I drop it down it does the same thing. I removed the belt and cleaned the clutch and this time I went about 20 feet. After stopping, I have the same issue no transferr of power to the track.
Any suggestions on where to start? I do have a rubber build up on the main clutch flanges that I can remove also, I plan on greasing the track components even though I can spin the track secondary clutch by hand.
Thank you in advance?

Is the track too tight? Is the brake draging? Gota go over the whole sled!

Definitely clean the clutch faces and rough those up with a green scotch-brite pad or medium sandpaper. Make sure the belt edges are not glazed, too. I would check for a sticky weight and/or main bushing in the primary as well.
