egt probe placement

Old School tuner, but I am looking into installing an EGT. My question is this, I want to read both cylinders seperately but I am running a single pipe. This is on a type 537 rotax engine and the Y pipe does not have that much runner. Any suggestions or explanations will be appreciated.

Type 537 521 cc sounds like a Formula Plus . Well with Ski-doos we have always tried to keep the exhast gas temperature probe 100 mm from the piston and 1330 F at wide open throttle at max HP rpm but keep in mind the engine can seize with E.G.T.s in the allowable range......Jari
