I like RK Tek, he will build any compression you want. Great guy to deal with.

I turn heads all the time, I've even made heads from scratch! I just chuck them up on the spark plug! Most squish bands are about 10 deg!

pretty sure its the same 800 rotax motor in both sleds.

Mine - 1989 Yamaha Phazer 485 w/ Comet 102C and boyesen power reeds. 14,356 kms.

Dads - 1997 Yamaha V-max XT 600 stock w/ polaris P-85 clutch

Brothers - on its way home soon! either a yamaha or skidoo. not sure what yet.

First ride of the 2009/2010 season - 11/12/09
09/10 km's - over 1200. pretty good for only half a seasons worth of riding.

Get your compression down to about 140 and a stock timing key!

go with a twin to save a few headaches, you will need engine(obviously) mounting plate, wire harness, possibly may need to move motor mounts, and the exhaust. if i were you id also look at upgrading the chaincase and jackshaft. in other words, you basically need everything under the hood changed
