Question 1974 Elan SS 294

I am about to rebuild a motor from a 1974 Elan SS. It is a 294 CC. The problem is that i have no manual, and since the motor needs completly rebuilt, I need to know what to torque everything down to. Does anyone have, or know where I can find this information

Try finding a vintage sled website or vintage forum within a site. Good luck.

I have a manual for a couple of Elan's we have (1970 & 1975) and the manual doesn't say what to set the torque and all of that, it doesn't go into that much detail. I would suggest just talking to a mechanic who works on small engines, he should be able to help you out
