Exclamation Got a stuck skid bolt?

If you are trying to remove your skid for service/track change, and you have a bolt that will not come out because it is corroded in there, here is a good and easy way to get it out.

If you do not have an impact wrench, try this:
Take out the one bolt and use a longer one of the same size, but with enough threads on it to add a nut. screw it in and lock the nut against the frame. now the other bolt will be easily removed and all you now need to do is to unlock the nut and the skid is now ready to drop.

I've tried everything to get the bolt in the rear wheel out. I have used an impact wrench, your trick and still nothin. Any ideas?

If you have a set of Vicegrips, try clamping them onto the outer tube.
