tried to start the sled again yesterday ran great then it started doing it again, tore the motor down cuz i had to see if it was a reed. both reeds looked like they were covered in dog hair and one of the reeds had a fin missing so i think i found the problem, got a set of boysen reeds comeing and a new top end with cometic gaskets and wiseco pistons. better run right after this!!!!!

do you have an update,,im having the same problems,,well it started like that now it wont run and ive done eveythng except the reeds,,clean my clutchs,and change my stator,,EVERYTHING else is done other than what im trying to do now,,next aftr i get it running again,,when i have no clue,,its putting me into deprssion the last few weeks but im gonna get at it,,i was thinking about having it bored @ the same time,,while its out i will get a wireing diagram and rewire it either with my old wireing from my other sled or with new wires plugs etc dunno if i should bore it ,,id like to its a heavy cunt,,and im 245 lbs so a lil more power would be nice but then i dont want anymore problems or a blowen engine,,

after putting aftermarket reeds in i, it ran great since my problem ive put a new skid in for a better ride got it piped jetted and clutched thanx to kccats, the sled runs amazing lots of power try takeing ur carbs off and looking down the boots to see if a fin is missing first.
