Piston scuffing on a Nikasil cylinder

What can be done to remove a small amount of piston scuffing (aluminum) from a Nikasil coated cylinder wall? Thanks Gary

just clean it up with a 3m crocus cloth and call her good. but if you want to renicasil its is best to do both or all three cylinders at a time

To clean aluminum off acylinder..use Muratic acid and a Q tip ..only apply it where the aluminum is on the cylinder...works great ...watch out for the fumes...its an old trick from the 70 s and the snopro sleds......Jari
