xlt mod dropping the skid and 1.5" and trying to extend the track!

so ive read into this for the last week or so im going to make my own set of drop brackets for the rear and adding some anti stab wheels since i plan on extending the track to a 136 let me know if you guys got parts

back to the point ive read that if i drop the rear a 1" i have to drop the front .5" and then take the center to center measurement of the original bolt holes and make sure i have the same on the new holes.

ill be doing this on a 1998 polaris xlt 600 mod sled and will make step by step pictures of everything here is the plan

1. shorten seat (done)
2. add luggage rack (in progress)
3. plastic skis (done)
4. l.e.d. strobe light under hood (done)
5. drop brackets
6. handle bar riser
7. extended track 136
8. shorten and widen side rails
9. spare 05 fusion 900 liberty motor

Depending on what you want to do with this sled (type of riding) You may not have to mess with the front much? Just tighten the front track shock spring! Maybe loosen the limiter strap?
One of my projects is to take a 128 X 15 track and put it under with a 121 skid! Simply move the mounts BACK! This will remove the 'problem' area of the aproach angle! Yet still keep it's agility and turnability and all that comes with the 121!

I helped put an extra 10 into a 91 indy last year! The only problem was there was no easy way to widen or raise the front end!
The problem with the drop brackets and then going to a 136, you will have to remake them!

On my 98 where the arms connect to the bulkhead theres a plate i was thinking bout dropping that 2 inches and taking my arms trailing radius and everything and adding 2 in to them as well so ill be 4 inches wider and 2 in taller should work just havnt got the time to start on it
