Looking for tips on reattaching stabalizer

Some loose rivets gave way this weekend on my stabilizer. I attempted to repair it in the past, but the belly prevented me from gaining access to drill and re-rivet the stabilizer to the frame of the sled. Any tips on how to make room for repairing. I can't imagine losing the belly is an easy task.

Can you rent a right angle drill and put a short bit in it?

I didn't know there was such a thing. I imagine the millwrights here at work have them. I'll ask around. Though, I think it was still a tight fit for the rivet gun.

How about a flex-cable drill extension, like the one's found on some Dremel units? You can get in just about anywhere with one of those. Your'e only drilling thin metal, should work fine.
