First off, I'm new to moding sleds, I usually just ride them so explain things like your talking to a child. I just got a 1995 Polaris Indy 600 XCR. I had a few questions about swapping the stock rear skid with an Xtra-10 setup. Am I going to need a longer track than the 121" that's already on the sled and what is involved with mounting the new suspension?

Keep in mind I'm on a limited budget so track length is my main concern. I've heard a lot of good things about the Xtra-10 setup but am having a hard time finding any info on it and would appreciate any help you could give me.

One more thing, did the XCR come stock with Fox Racing shocks or are the ones on my sled aftermarket?

the holes will have to be redrilled as stated, but thats the only real concern. google xtra-10 swap, or search here for it too. there is an article out there with measurements in it that worked great for me when i put an xtra-10 into a 93 xlt last winter. the xcr came stock with fox shocks. and the xtra-10, by using new holes, doesn't really det the sled up any taller, just gives a better ride. still uses the 121x15 track.
