Help.. track durability question

Does anyone know the durability of rubber tracks on pavement? In other words, have any of you driven your snowmobile on pavement? if so, what happened to your tracks? did it wear out quickly? did it shread to pieces?

any information would be most appreciated.

thanks

Depends, are you talking crossing roads or putting wheels on youe skis and racing on pavement? If you war gonna to long term driving on pavment, though the track is durable, your lugs will wear quickly. If you plan on racind, they make flat smooth tracks for such uses. There is also an over heating issue but if your racing, the race is over so quick it shouldnt matter.

hope this helps
