I have a 99 polaris xc sp 600 that is riding a little low. I believe it was set up for a woman around 150 lbs where I am around 210. I am not sure if the suspension is beat or if it just needs to be tuned appropriately. I cranked the front springs down and it still sags alot when I sit on it. Are there any cheap swaps to get it riding a little higher, like and egde swap? I am very mechanically inclined when it comes to cars, but sleds are a new game. any suggestions would be appreciated.

You need to adjust the springs at the rear of the skip (rear swing arm) to make the suspension stiffer for your weight.
The front skid adjuster spring should not need any adjustment, this spring set changes the ski down pressure (weight transfer) from the front of the track to the back.

Polaris offers 3 different sets of springs. Its possible that the previous owner put in lighter springs to accomdate a lighter rider.
You may need to get the stock torsion springs or you may even need to move up to the heavy springs.

THere is also a three position adjuster on the rear tension spring. The tail of the rear spring rides in the adjuster. You can turn it with a 13/16" spark plug wrench. Adjust it to the position where the adjuster puts the most force to the spring for your weight. When you look at the adjuster, you will understand what I am talking about.

Springs do sag over time, and as was mentioned previously, it may be time for new ones.

I also have a 99 xcsp and would like to put a edge suspention in it.
Is thet possible? Would it be a good swap?
