before and after pics of my truck
just did a body job and paint. let me know what you think.
Before: (at the time i bought my truck, didnt take any right before i painted it)

truck- 1998 chevy 1500 extended cab 4X4 Z71 package fully loaded 5.7L vortec, 33X11.50 tires, micky thompson rims, Flowmaster dual exhaust 45 at the corner of the bumper 3.5" cut 45 chrome tips, diamond plate tool box, back rack with 4" backup spotlights, 2 inch lift, chrome bed skins, fresh paint
sled- currently sledless, sold it at the bigginging of last season
bikes- 2000 Honda 300 Fourtrax 4X4 (winch)

Nice... Plus it looks like you either fixed the brakes or the tranny! I removed the step tubes on mine also... Hated them!

the step bars are still in the garage... i still like the look of them but 2 bolts broke then i was taking them off and one more pulled the threads out wit it, so its just a matter of extracting broken bolts and re- tapping them. just haven't got around to it yet. there are still a few things i need to put on (bug deflector, mud flaps, and those window rain guards (but of course i broke the last one i had left to take off, the driver's door, go figure)

Nah, if it was fuel would have gotten rid of it long time ago. Its just in such great condition...I think it would wise to try and move it while it has great attention. I need to think down the road, my future kids and wife and job, to get the money from this truck while I can to put myself in a truck that can do it all. I bought a car over the summer, an 05 honda...and between payments on that and repairs on the Ford, my wallet was screaming...so I took a deep breath, and said to myself...ITS TIME;(...my truck doesnt supply enough realistic drive ability for my needs, and if something breaks again I cant keep dumping money into the truck, theres better places the money should be going. Its just my take on things. I cant cry about it, sumone will get a really really nice taken care of truck. I on the other hand will use the money to put myself into an 09 dodge ram with a lifetime warranty, and hopefully never look back.

all makes sense i guess... just so sad to see it go after so much time and money into it. but understandable its a good choice i agree with it, and i hope it all works out... whoever buys that truck is one lucky person
