Buying My First Car
I plan on buying my first car some time over the next year and am looking to spend under $10,000. I want something reliable and decent looking, but reliability is my main concern. I want to do as little maintenance as possible.
What do you guys suggest?

Do u prefer a certain company? will it be for daily driving? I assume you want something with good MPG's.... If u want sumthing that looks good and is reliable, look for like a 2000-2004 Chevy Monte Carlo with low miles

Screw the Monte... Get a 94-00 Honda Accord for $5K and drive it for years with no money needed!

Depends on the size of the car you want, the engine size, etc. 2 door? 4 door?

Well if you dont care if its american or not, yeah get some type of honda, seems as they all last a LONG time.... Or if you only would buy an american car(like me) You coull look into the cobalts, and similar compact cars with good MPG's

I was looking into a Honda Accord but wanted to see what else is out there. I'll check out the Monte Carlo. Are Nissans any good?
For something like an Accord, what kind of mileage should I be looking for?

Honda.... Cannot go wrong with any mileage... If it is over 100,000 miles, make sure they replaced the timing belt.

American is the way to go! Although Nissans and Honda Accords are reliable, if that's what you're into.
