Hello i have a 2001 gmc sonoma crew cab... and my driver side speakers stopped workin... i have 1 tweeter working in the dash but the door speakers and the dash speaker stopped working... its all stock. im thinkin maybe hte headunit is fried?

If you lost MORE then one speaker, then the amp went in the head unit.

Check the connections through the door, the wires could be broken. GM uses a floating ground. This means that all the speakers are grounded back to the radio and the radio and speakers have to have a body ground too.

ok i wiggled the the wires between the doors nothing... but i did notice the drivers doorpanel was loose. like someone was in there to fix the window or something would one wire comin off a speaker take teh whole thing down?

If the wire shorted to ground it could.

ok i got after this weekend... and got it fixed... there was a short in the back drivers speaker wire... it was wired so the wires were rubbin on the window acuator... and it finally wore a hole into it and grounded it out... thx for hte help guys
