The tuner does not work with an Avalanche, thus I need a different one. I bought this in anticipation of setting up my Avy but it is for the Silverado/Sierra/1500/2500/3500/ and classic style trucks. Works on motors 4.3 - 4.8 - 5.3 - 6.0 - 6.6 - 8.1L.
