Well we are heading up to Mcbride Lake this weekend for the ice fishing derby. Course I will be bringing the sleds and the gopro

Being in Yorkton and not a skiff of a snow in any direction I was quite sad to think the derby was going to be cancelled. I called the organizers and the derby is still on and the best part. They had 6" of snow last night!!!

i heard ice fishing down hear was pertty poor last year , but so far it seems to be really good this year , every body seems to be catchin alot a nice jack and walleye

The fishing was awesome last year. Limited out lots last year, on all lakes I went on. The derby was terrible @ mcbride , all the noise (sleds, people walking around, music blaring, people running on the ice) if I was a fish I sure wouldnt hang around. Our cabin is on the lake and we all have a blast hammering non stop jacks. Not many walleye in the lake.

ya man , i was out on thompson lake about 3 weeks ago and we caught 5 nice size jack in bout 2 hrs we were out there , cant wait to go again
