hey guys i want to paint my sled, but i dont have a spray gun or a air comp. I dont want to buy those either. Is there any good cheap way. Would spray paint work? I want to paint it black. Any suggestions would be appreciated! THANX

The success of a nice paint job is in the prep! Sanding & primer will take the most effort, buy only with the best material. You can get good results with a spray-bomb. If you want a very shiny black finish, try something like Dulpi-Color. I have used Mercruiser (boat engine outdrive) paint & it works great & results in a very shiny, even coat It is also very durable.

Good luck.....post some pics when you're done!

Krylon fusion plastic paint. It is in a spray can and made for plastic.. Just do what was said above, use a few coats of primer, then a few coats of the paint then a couple coats of gloss!

Primer comes in spray cans, also! Sand the primer between coats with 400 grit wet/dry (black) sandpaper dipping in water every few minutes.

A spray bomb is just another name for a can of spray paint!!

Well, you can put on colored skins, they work well on the older sleds. I put a pair on my 80 Pantera.
