Cowl Repairs

I have a small crack in my hood/ cowl on my 96 Ultra 680. Anyone know a way to repair this crack with out painting everything or sending it out to be plastic welded??

Depending how big the crack is you can always rivet the crack together. I bought a sled with a messed up hood from a different sled and it was riveted together. I'm in the market for a new hood, was thinking bout buying one of those new clear hoods, what ya think?

If you got a nice motor a clear hood would be nice, have to clean every time you stop if you want it to look good cause of belt dirt/whatever

Hey shanek, just curious, why do you type in "shane" after every post????noticed awhile ago but didn't know why...

plastic welding is not that much
see http://www.jlautoworks.com for a DIY plastic welding kit.
