hid kit

I have a 2002 mxz 700 that I recently purchased an hid conversion kit for. I have hooked up the kit to my sled but I can not get it to work for nothing. The kit does work as I've tried it on a car. What am I doing wrong? And what do I have to do to get it to work? I don't have a battery in my sled either buy I have heard of prole getting them to work with out a battery. Thanks in advance.

Ya like the hid headlight bulb conversion kits you can get to replace your original bulbs.

Without a battery, you may not have enough juice at low rpm to make it work.
