Question cleaning up the sled

hey guys i was gettin out the sled this weekend and it hit me that i tunnel is really dull, exhaust stains down the side, and since it's a ski doo legend it has a battery on it, for the ele. start, and i think its the battery thats givin it a rusty powdery look all over that side. so my point is, what the best thing use that cleans everything up real nice?

Try heat from a hair dryer. Isopropyl alcohol works somewhat as does Goo-Gone to remove sticky residue, test first to make sure the finish isn't damaged.

I'll try both of your suggestions.
I was just concerned about the sled finish.

If you can get your hands on one of those eureka steamers they take stickers off like magic, no mess and all that is used is water. Used this on 10 year old bumper stickers as well as when i rode my bike off the showroom floor.

BTW great to see more fellow vermonters!

The registration stickers I just grab and peel. I then take WD-40 and wipe of the residue...
