LED Lights on a 2001 Ski-doo MXZ 700

Hi there i want to put some LED lights under the running boards on my 2001 Ski-doo MXZ 700. I dont want to spend alot on them. I'm looking at like $20 Maximum. I was wondering if these would work. This is the link to them.

20x Yellow LED Lamp Light Set 25cm Pre Wired 5mm 12V DC - eBay (item 250287994043 end time Aug-31-08 00:02:21 PDT)

Or

Car Auto Van Wheel Strip LED Bulb Light 48cm 12V Yellow - eBay (item 170255628290 end time Aug-29-08 15:32:24 PDT)

I plan to wire them all together and the use a toggle switch to turn them on and off then wire them into the headlights. Will this plan i have work or should i do it differently?

If you are going to do LEDs on a snowmobile, you will need a resistor or you will blow all of the LEDs.
