bumper

how do you fix a bumper on a 2000 ZR 500. I broke it when i jumped a corrsing and i landed directly on the bumper. all the bolts are broken underneath and i was wondering if there was an alternative to getting a new bumper. thanks

Looks like you only did around $40+ damage, if the bumper is all that got destroyed.

Anyway, without seeing the damage, it's hard to make a recommendation. Wal-Mart sells a nice fiberglass kit in the auto section - complete with fiberglass cloth. That's one option.

The other option is to look on eBay. You can usually get parts real cheap there. I just got a *new* rear bumper (still in packaging) for my 2000 ZL550 for $40 something. Normal price is over $80.
