I don't know if this "advertising" is allowed but the best price I found for snowmobile vinyl is from rochford supply. I haven't unrolled it yet but price was about 1/2 compared to others and great service.

I sure wouldn't use OSB for the seat base as pictured....it will crumble after it gets wet a few times. Best to use exterior grade plywood (CDX).

here are some pictures I took of a race seat I did. It wasn't for cosmetics, just utility. You need to leave a little extra when tracing for the hem.
