Riser?

I'm a rather tall 6'4 and when I stand to ride I have to bend over a decent amount to grab the bars. I was looking into getting bar risers. I was thinkin 4", for this I think i'll need a throttle extension too. Are those hard to put in? Does having a triple make it any different? What about brake extensions too?

Use a block of wood cut to the size you want as a dummy and test it first.

Vote for me in the Nov. SOTM.

I will shamelessly promote myself all over the forum.

most polaris's can only fit a 2.5" riser without cable extension's. throttle cable is easy and so is the brake but you will have to bleed your brakes after putting on the new cable and filling up the resevoir. If you only wanna go 4" try and reroute the cables to get enough length because riser blocks are cheap it's the cables that get pricy. don't forget about all the wiring as well. On a sled like your's to make a decent stand up position you need at least a 6" riser and probably a pivot block so it goes up not back towards you.

BE SURE about whether or not you NEED a cable extension.

Had a friend tell me about his buddy who wrecked his sled a couple weekends ago. Just put the riser on it - out for his first ride... "Thought" the cable length was okay, until he made a hard right. Ended up driving right into a tree at full throttle.
